Some students thrive when they can learn how to be accountable, respectful and productive. The individuals living and managing these special programs are the heart and soul of day to day activity. • Are often situated in rural areas such as a small town, ranch or farm
• Provide individual and group therapy on premise or in the community
• Offer active outdoor components include equine, farm or ranch activities which encourages responsibility and productivity
• Allow education to be provided through home schooling, distance learning or local public school
• Integrate volunteer opportunities within the community
• Encourage and offer school sports opportunities
• Provide substance abuse counseling and 12 step meetings are available
