Home Based/Family Style Programs:

• Teach teens how to be accountable, respective and productive in a small, homelike setting
• Are often situated in rural areas such as a small town, ranch or farm
• Provide individual and group therapy
• Offer active outdoor components include equine, farm or ranch activities
• Allow education to be provided through home schooling or local public school
• Integrate volunteer opportunities within the community
• Encourage and offer school sports opportunities
• Provide substance abuse counseling and 12 step meetings are available
• Generally serve 8-12 students
• Average a length of stay between 12-24 months
• Cost $3500 - $8,000 per month
