Addictions and Recovery Programs

Addiction is a serious problem which can lead to overdose or death. Research has shown that substance abuse compromises ability to function in every aspect of life. Families are often afraid of upsetting an addict and may continue to enable their use.

Often it is reality that addiction is not going to get better without outside resources. People can recover and do so on a daily basis.

  • Support sober living and recovery from drug and alcohol dependency, eating, gambling, internet or sexual addictions
  • Offer 12 step programming
  • May offer precursor or alternative programming to 12 step including Seven Challenges, Sober Recovery and others.
  • Provide sound nutritional and healthy lifestyle living options
  • Offer alternative therapeutic interventions including yoga, meditation, equine and holistic approaches
  • Promote individual, group and family therapy and support
  • Provide aftercare planning
  • Range from 30 days to 14 months
  • Costs vary and may include insurance coverage

Dual Diagnosis Programs

It is often difficult to understand whether an underlying psychiatric problem created an addiction or whether an addiction created a psychiatric problem. Managing Dual Diagnosis can be a very complex and difficult journey There are a variety of specialty programs that support recovery in conjunction with more sophisticated psychiatric involvement including all of the above mentioned services.

  • Can provide a long over due diagnosis including regular monitoring or medication
  • Assists the client in becoming a more active participant in acceptance of their diagnosis
  • Provide support and guidance with more complex issues

Eating Disorders/Chronic Pain Programs

  • Provide specific clinical support for those challenged with anorexia, bulimia or chronic pain issues as well as all the above mentioned services
